The Village Museum is located in Herastrau park, a large area (I have not done the math, but more than 10 ha) offers a large number of homes, houses, wooden churches, mills or other tools, representing Romanian traditional heritage through the ages.
The visit, during the stay of Peter in Romania, took place on foot and on open sky. You are guided by signs here and there, numbered, which repositions the past not yet completely abandoned, in a modern city.
The houses are not all living areas, but it gives a real authentic feel for those who let themselves be guided, on the outside areas. In the center of the « village » exhibitors welcome you with their smiles and their creations of all kinds.
I leave you to contemplate these pictures through a brief overview of the traditions still kept in this lovely country.
