Bigar waterfall is located in the department of Caras-Severin, in the National Park Cheile Nerei – Beusnita, Romania. Finding the waterfall is not very easy, for this, you must follow the Nera river. The waterfall is located on road 58, 12 km before Resita between Steierdorf and Bozovica (it is quite far from these two cities, at the entrance of the forest).
With a little walking and climbing some stairs, you can gain access to a small charming lake and a cave.
The waterfall is known by some people as the most beautiful in the world. What is especially beautiful is the moss that grows on it despite the constant flow of water (a standing stone gathers moss then?).
I was able to take great photos, while going down on a side, but I still do not understand one thing, how does this cascade resist the flow of time?
This waterfall is really beautiful, magical and it seems to be the heart of nature.
Do not hesitate to come and visit it, as it is a true wonder of nature, a fairy tale place.
